The sea is not always blue. Especially on the North Sea, on the beautiful island of Sylt, the water and the beach have a different colour every day, depending on the weather and light conditions. This resin artwork "Sylt" is made of high-quality resin on a wooden painting base. I cast the waves from several layers of resin. The sea is designed here in different shades of grey, depending on the incidence of light the pigments used shimmer. Resin is a synthetic resin specially developed for artists, also known as epoxy resin. This gives the mural a high-gloss surface. The different layers of resin create a great 3D effect. The resin sea picture is delivered ready to hang with a white shadow gap frame.
